Great information about the different licenses! I tried using my own photos one time (I’m a photographer too) but it can get quite busy for me so I opted to use Flickr when I don’t have a photo in my personal collection.

Such an awesome tool to use! You seem to find the very best photos

Very good tut on the licenses. I had to do a bit of research of my own lately... For search images from flickr, I often use the Photo Dropper plugin, then you can search on your blog and have it insert the attribution link. Of course, I usually crop, edit, and self-host the images myself, but this plugin at least makes it easy to find images. And for lots of bloggers who don't want to go through the hassle of uploading, it definitely cuts out all of the work.
