I subscribe to most blogs my email now - cause I'm old school like that - and you really don't feel the need to comment cause your not on the actual blog. I use RSS to follow my favourite blogs and if the whole post is in the feed I rarely click through to where I can actually make a comment, the summary feeds have me clicking thru and then I'm more inclined to comment.
